The UPSC Principal & Vice-Principal Combined Recruitment Test for the Directorate of Education, GNCTD is a single objective paper of 300 marks in two hours, in English and Hindi, with one-third negative marking; the test and the interview are weighted 75:25.
UPSC prints only the notified heads, so this shelf groups them into three: core education subjects (NEP 2020, RTE Act, schemes, measurement & evaluation, pedagogy, digital literacy), office administration (CCS Conduct, CCA, Pension, GFR, CSMOP, RTI Act, Leave/LTC) and general knowledge, language and aptitude, which is being written now.
