About the CGA AAO test series
Built only for the CGA AAO CBT
The CGA AAO CBT is the computer based departmental examination for promotion to Assistant Accounts Officer in the civil accounts organisation. It has five papers of 100 marks each: comprehension and office correspondence, service regulations, government and works accounts, constitution with financial administration and budget, and procurement with internal audit.
This page carries only what that syllabus asks for. Paper III has chapter-wise banks for Government Accounting Rules 1990, the CGA (Receipt & Payment) Rules 2022 and their Subsidiary Instructions, the Civil Accounts Manual, LMMH, the Suspense Manual, the CPWD Works Manual and the Manual for Procurement of Works. Paper IV covers the Budget Manual, FRBM, the CAG (DPC) Act and Lok Sabha Chapter XXVI. Paper V covers the three CGA internal audit manuals, the procurement manuals, the Make in India order and GeM.
