Sectional mocks
Every subject appears in every test, and chapters run in Chapter Index order. Chapters are tested whole: each test carries about a seventh of the subject's previous-year questions, so a heavily asked chapter gets a test to itself and the least-asked chapters are grouped together. A chapter is split only when its PYQs are well above one test's share, at a natural boundary shown on the chip. In Parliamentary Procedure every test is built around an important chapter, marked on the card, with the short neighbouring chapters grouped alongside it. Each card lists the chapters covered under every subject; the subject's question count is fixed by the blueprint.

Final full Paper II and the last test of the series, one week before the exam.
How the series works
- BLUEPRINTSame pattern in every test
120 questions, 150 marks, 2 hours, ⅓ negative. Each subject keeps a fixed number of questions in all twenty tests, so scores can be compared from one test to the next.
- SECTIONAL MOCKSThe syllabus, chapter by chapter
Seven tests per paper move through every subject in syllabus order. Chapters asked most often by UPSC get more questions; in Parliamentary Procedure every test is built around an important chapter, with the short neighbouring chapters grouped alongside it. Together the seven tests cover the whole syllabus once.
- MINISTRY-WISEAOBR, Schemes and Current Affairs
All ministries are split into seven groups. Each sectional mock covers one group across all three subjects, so every ministry is covered before the full-length tests.
- FULL-LENGTH TESTSThree full papers each
From 30 November to 5 December, one test a day, ending a full week before the exam. Each covers the whole syllabus at the exam pattern, with the emphasis on the chapters UPSC asks most.
Paper II follows the CSS group syllabus; Official Language is not tested in these mocks. Dates and timings may change if UPSC revises the exam schedule. · PromotionExams.com · CSS ADDA
